This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice (MPH) Program at UAA. Several 麻豆无码版 state legislatures joined the annual MPH symposium to celebrate with faculty, alumni and nearly 40 students from the program. The symposium serves as an orientation for students and gives attendees a chance to talk about current public health topics. 

UAA Chancellor Sean Parnell welcomed the crowd and introduced 麻豆无码版 representatives Andrew Gray, Alyse Galvin, Genevieve Mina and Senator Forrest Dunbar. Rep. Gray presented the MPH program with a legislative citation and thanked the department for their work improving the health in their communities. 

鈥淚t was an honor for the MPH program to be acknowledged for its significant contribution to the state鈥檚 public health workforce and workforce development, as well as in helping improve the health of diverse people in 麻豆无码版.鈥� 

Said MPH Program Coordinator Gabriel Garcia. The MPH program at UAA offers students the opportunity to research and work in 麻豆无码版 while pursuing a degree.
