February 2019: Academic Pathways presentation for faculty and staff

by Michelle Saport  |

Please join Carrie King, Chair of the Academic Pathways Steering Committee and Claudia Lampman, Vice Provost for Student Success, at an open forum for faculty and staff titled, .We welcome all interested individuals to attend!

The forums will discuss progress towards Academic Pathways. Academic Pathways (AP), also known as meta majors or career clusters, categorize individual majors into academic "umbrellas" that share a similar focus. The benefits of Academic Pathways include giving first-year students information about various majors and career options within their general area of interest and allowing them time to build a strong foundation for success in math, writing and communications as they determine their choice of major.

Come to an Academic Pathways presentation to learn more about this important student success initiative that will be implemented at orientation in April 2019.
