Biography
Anastasiia Iun is an Assistant Professor at the 麻豆无码版 Psychology Department. Her research centers on lifespan adjustment and social, emotional, and behavioral assessment and intervention. She specifically examines how a sense of belonging in educational institutions, teacher-student dynamics, parent-child relationships, and peer relationships influences individuals across ages and how these relationships impact and are influenced by social adjustment, mental health, and cross-cultural adaptation.
Anastasiia is also deeply invested in exploring and evaluating evidence-based interventions to address social-emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges in students across all educational levels. Her research incorporates trauma-informed care and focuses on assessing the acceptability and feasibility of interventions within educational and clinical settings in various cultural contexts.
Anastasiia鈥檚 diverse, multicultural background and international experience in clinical practice - including psychological assessment, psychotherapy, ABA therapy - and supervisory roles in multiple settings (Hand in Hand Organization in Kyrgyzstan, International Child Development Center ABC in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, Ala-Too International University in Kyrgyzstan, University of Massachusetts Boston, Boston Public Schools, May Institute, Department of Health and Human Services Nebraska, Children鈥檚 Nebraska) with a very diverse population with and without developmental disabilities and other psychiatric disorders across ages - enrich her research, teaching, and supervision. She is dedicated to producing applied research that informs her mentorship and supervision and enhances her clinical practice. In 2023-2024, she received parent-child interaction therapy training as well as specialized training to provide psychological care to military populations, further strengthening her trauma-informed approach to research, teaching, supervision, and clinical services.
