Biography

Daniel Anteau received a B.A. from the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ and his M.F.A from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in Lighting Design. In his academic career Daniel has taught for the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ as technical director/lighting designer, The University of Hawaii as Assistant professor in Lighting Design and Technical Director. After returning to the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ He now serves as Professor in Design and Production Manager. Daniel is also the academic advisor for the technical students within Department of Theatre and Dance and manages the light shop as well as sound, projections, and stage management.

Professionally, Daniel's Lighting Designs have been seen across Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ & Hawaii, to New York City, and internationally to Africa. Daniel continues to stay active as Lighting Designer working with Manoa Valley Theatre on their January production, and will be working with Perseverance Theatre this season with Peter and the Starcatcher.

Daniel offers classes in Lighting Design, Stage Management, CAD for the Arts, Theatre Production, Technical Practicum, and advanced topics in technical theatre which have included Sound Design, Sound Engineering, and Practical Applications in Theatrical Control Systems.
