Biography
Danny was born and raised in Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ and is a proud UAA Alum. He brings a rich Clinical Mental Health Counseling background and a strong passion for education and mentoring students and professionals across disciplines. With 17 years of experience as an actor and time spent as a simulated participant performer, Danny understands the power of immersive learning and enjoyment in one's field.
Duties & Responsibilities
As Simulated Participant (SP) Coordinator, Danny works with the Simulated Participant (SP) employees to enhance the learner experience. His role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring SPs to portray roles authentically and consistently, ensuring alignment with case objectives and curriculum needs. He collaborates with faculty and fellow simulation specialists to develop realistic scenarios, assess learner performance, and maintain program fidelity. Additionally, Danny oversees scheduling, provide performance feedback, and ensures compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices in simulation-based education. Through these efforts, he strives to create impactful, learner-centered experiences that support the development of our programs' educational competencies.
