Carri Shamburger is the Program Director for the Dental Hygiene Program at UAA and recently earned her Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Cognition and Learning, strengthening her commitment to advancing education and student success.
The Seawolf Food Pantry continues to make a difference for students facing food insecurity.
UAA's College of Health hosts Cares for Kids annually, where dental students give back to the community by providing free preventive dental care to youth aged 3 to 17.
The Seawolf Food Pantry settles into a new location on UAA's Anchorage Campus, in the Professional Studies Building (PSB).
Recent graduate of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, Hannah Bogden, reflects passionately on her two-week kayak expedition from Whittier to Valdez. She was joined by other students and two instructors, with the trip being part of a capstone course for the college’s outdoor leadership program.
