UAA Army ROTC
Army ROTC is the United States Army's primary officer training program. The University of Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Anchorage Army ROTC program is a cooperative effort between the U.S. Army, the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Army National Guard and the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ to educate, train and prepare students to serve as officers in the Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard.
UAA Army ROTC has two-, three- and four-year programs that lead to a commission as a second lieutenant. The program is divided into a basic course for freshmen and sophomores and an advanced course for juniors and seniors. Programs and courses can be adjusted to meet specific needs of individual students who wish to enroll but are past their freshman year.
