Two from UAA featured on BBC

Richard Chiappone, Kachemak Bay Campus and UAA Creative Writing Low Residency instructor was the featured guest on the BBC Radio 3 showcase of new writing, literature and performance, "The Verb," presented by Ian McMillan. Author of Water of an Undetermined Depth, Chiappone's new short story, "Ladies Hockey," was read on the program. This is the second time Chiappone's creative work has been showcased on the BBC. Last year the BBC broadcast one of Chiappone's essays.

Also featured on this edition of "The Verb" was a discussion of Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ writing and literature on Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ's 50th anniversary. Joining Chiappone for that discussion was Ronald Spatz, Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Quarterly Review executive editor and dean of UAA's Honors College.
