Thursday, Sept. 10, 1-2:15 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

Guest agency: Food Bank of Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Topic: How do we provide enough nutritious food for every Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æn?

Think Tanks are a monthly community engagement experience in which a nonprofit agency presents a challenge or issue and attendees brainstorm solutions for the organization.

Nearly 105,000 Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æns-roughly 1 in 7-struggle with hunger. In any given week, 6,300 Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ households turn to Food Bank of Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ's network of food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and other programs for food assistance. Food Bank of Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ believes that no one deserves to be hungry. So how can we as a community work together towards the goal of providing enough nutritious food for every Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æn?

September is Hunger Action Month. This is your chance to learn about the issue and get involved.

Students, faculty, staff and community members-join us to assist the Food Bank and contribute your thoughts and ideas to the discussion.

Pizza will be provided by Moose's Tooth.

Parking note: There is a fee for parking on campus. Please allow extra time to find parking.
