Spoonful of Support volunteer reminder, April 25

The Seawolf Dining & Catering team and the Brother Francis Shelter want to thank all the UAA employees and families who signed up to bring food items to the Spoonful of Support event on Friday, April 25. This event is hosted by the Seawolf Dining & Catering team alongside the Brother Francis Shelter to provide a warm, nutritious meal to those facing food insecurity.
This is a gentle reminder to please bring your designated food items by no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. There will be staff ready to receive the items.
Because the sign-ups were filled within just days of the event being posted, we want to extend the offer to bring shelf-stable snacks as a donation for the shelter’s food pantry. Snacks can include jerky, crackers, or items similarly found in a packed lunch. These donations can be dropped off at the same time as the food drop-off for the event.
