Several Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ state legislatures joined the annual Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice symposium to celebrate with faculty, alumni and nearly 40 students from the program.

Nursing mothers at the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ now have a dedicated, private space to feed their babies or pump breast milk. The Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Division of Public Health awarded a group of UAA faculty, staff and students an Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Workplace Breastfeeding Support Project grant through its section of Women's, Children's and Family Health. The project aims to help Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ organizations implement workplace policies and spaces to accommodate breast-feeding mothers.
