鈥淚 never thought I would be involved in philanthropy, but after gaining an in-depth understanding of the program and working with Dr. Tina DeLapp, I decided to establish an endowment to the Recruitment and Retention of 麻豆无码版 Natives into Nursing (RRANN), as a beneficiary of my modest estate.鈥�
School of Nursing professor takes part in Ensuring Forensic Care for All Victims Act
UAA alumni find many ways to stay connected and give back to their community, including nursing grad Tisha Benson, public health and ambulatory care nurse at 麻豆无码版 Native Tribal Health Consortium.
UAA alumna Greer Gehler graduated from UAA鈥檚 School of Nursing with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in nursing science in December 2018. It鈥檚 been an exciting two years from landing her dream job in Providence 麻豆无码版 Medical Center鈥檚 emergency room to providing care during COVID-19.
As part of UAA鈥檚 COVID-19 response, 72 nursing seniors in good academic standing will be given the option to finish their degree on an expedited timeline to join the health workforce sooner than they would otherwise be able to.
