October is Filipino American History Month! Filipino leaders across Anchorage are hosting a community-wide event in celebration of our rich history and culture.

Faculty Mini Grant Opportunity: Health Misinformation Education, Proposals due midnight October

As part of efforts to create a healthier information environment in Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ, the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Health Misinformation Response Project Team seeks UAA and branch campus faculty for a mini-grant opportunity to raise awareness about the threat of health misinformation, particularly as it relates to confidence in vaccination.

Sunday, Oct. 2, the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Airlines Center is hosting the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Bride 2022 Fall Wedding Show and our new food truck Salmon Hook Up will be in the parking lot from 12-5 p.m.

UAA collaboration receives $4.39M toward teacher training and retention in Bristol Bay

The grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Native Education program will help the Bristol Bay Teaching and Learning Collaborative facilitate teacher development and retention, enhance positive engagement between the communities and schools, and provide culturally responsive education courses to teachers from outside the region.
