Three UAA alumni inducted to Anchorage ATHENA Society Class of 2025

The Anchorage ATHENA Society has its inductees to the Class of 2025.
Fourteen women and this year’s Leadership Award recipient will be honored at the annual Anchorage ATHENA Society luncheon on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Hotel Captain Cook. Tickets and table sponsorships are available through the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce at .
Congratulations to all inductees, including the following three Seawolf alumni:
- Kate Consenstein, B.A. Journalism and Public Communications ’11, principal at Rising Tide Communications.
- Melanie Osborne, B.A. Justice ’96, senior counsel at Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.
- Jennifer Schrage, B.A. Journalism and Public Communications ’93, director of client relations at Signature Land Services.
Additionally, this year’s ATHENA Leadership Award goes to Janis Fleischman, M.A.T. Teaching ’86, co-owner of Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop. The society’s highest honor, the ATHENA Leadership Award recognizes an ATHENA inductee for exceptional service.
Part of ATHENA International, the Anchorage ATHENA Society is a nonprofit organization hosted by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. ATHENA seeks to inspire women to reach their full potential and strive to create balance in leadership worldwide. Members are honored for success in their careers or profession, supporting women and giving back to their communities.
